Western Tidewater Community Services Board is committed and dedicated to promoting consumer independence and providing quality residential services, appropriate community assistance, support and training to individuals with Intellectual Disability and their families.  

The Community Services Board currently operates four Intermediate Care Facilities, and three Medicaid Waiver Group Homes and a community based In-Home Program .  

The Intermediate Care Facilities provide an array of services that include but are not limited to: dietary, nursing, social work, psychiatry, psychology, dental and various therapy disciplines.

In addition to these services, the Community Services Board also provides 24 hour medical on-call support and maintains qualified direct care staff to provide active treatment to the residents it serves.

The corner stone of Western Tidewater Community Services Board's success has been to provide a clean, safe and nurturing environment with added supports to facilitate resident independence and growth.
